Senior Sports Players Sign for College

Signing their letters of intent on Wednesday, April 4, seniors Chaka Watson (football), Kaleb Ramsey (football), and Jervondric Simmons (basketball) will be pursuing their career in sports to the next level.
Senior Chaka Watson signed with the University of Mary Hardin- Baylor to continue playing football. He plans to attend for four years to major in Mechanical Engineering. “I feel like I fell a little short this year, but for the most part I feel I accomplished a majority of my goals I set for myself this year”, Senior Chaka Watson said.
Senior Kaleb Ramsey will be attending Lamar University. While playing football Kaleb will also plan on majoring in Kinesiology for four years to become a coach. “My favorite quote I always go by is always doing the right thing even when nobody’s watching”, Senior Kaleb Ramsey said.
Signing to Southern University, Senior, Jervondric Simmons will continue playing basketball for their team in the fall. He plans to attend for four years to major in Chemical Engineering. “If you for nothing you’ll fall for anything”, Senior Jervondric Simmons said.
Although graduating soon, these seniors have their blue and silver support continually. All of these successful young men are prepared and ready to flip to the next chapter of their lives. Go out and show them what West Orange–Stark can make.
